My two elder sisters are excellent cooks, I ended up as food taster when I was young! I did not mind trying out such awesome cooking. My eldest sister who we call 'Baidew' (Assamese word for elder sister) I still remain a big fan of her desserts even now.
I do not like spending too much time in the kitchen so my recipes are really easy and quick to make.
I wanted to dedicate this post to Baidew for introducing me to the world of desserts and this is the first recipe I learnt from her and has always been a hit every time. Hope you will enjoy it too!
The ingredients I used here are:
Cream (I keep the tin for recycling them into beautiful candle holders. Maybe I will share a post in the future :))
Biscuits(you can try it out with any of them from Marie biscuits to Graham Crackers)
Chocolate syrup.
Coffee.
Sugar
Method:
Whip up the cream with a tsp of sugar in a bowl and keep aside.
Boil half a cup of water with 1/2 tsp of coffee powder added to it.
Take a biscuit at a time using a pair of tongs to dip it in the coffee water just for a second or two else you will have the mushy biscuit in the coffee :)
Keep on spreading a layer of them is a bowl.
Spread the whipped cream on top of this biscuit layer.
Till your next visit here Cheers!
